A silver joining band of the hilt, with engraved plant decoration. The blade is of steel, single-edged, straight. On one side of the blade, an impressed illegible stamp and a silver damascened Arabic inscription that in translation runs: 'The year 1190. (AH)'. Scabbard wanting.
