DESCRIPTION: A hilt of yellowish bone with faceted ears. Hilt, continuation of hilt and leaf-shaped decoration on the blade of metal, decorated with filigree work with bead motif. The blade is of steel, single-edged, curved, with narrow fuller along the ridge. On the blade on one side along the whole length a silver damascened ornament, and on the other side an Arabic inscription, that in translation runs: '1210. (AH). Made by Omer, owner Osman. / I rely upon my Maker, His slave Osman-Basha. / The knife (sword) should be in the hand, the name of the Glorious on the tongue, His slave Osman. / Oh Mohammed, intercede for your follower, Osman-Aga'. Wants scabbard. Bone part of the hilt cracked and damaged. Leaf-shaped ornament on the blade partially missing on one side, and damaged on the other.
