    DESCRIPTION:
    Hilt of dark yellow bone, with slightly faceted ears. Joining band of metal, decorated with plant ornamentation. In the continuation of the hilt, short pieces of wood reinforced with wire have been inserted. Leaf-shaped decoration on the blade of metal, with plant ornamentation. The blade is of steel, single-edged, curved, with narrow fuller along the ridge. On most of the blade on one side silver damascened plant and linear ornamentation, and on the other side an Arabic inscription that in translation runs: '1218. (AH).
