DESCRIPTION: Hilt of dark yellow bone, with truncated ears. Band of metal, decorated with floral ornamentation. Continuation of the hilt made of metal, with decoration of fish scales that are met on part of the ridge as well. The leaf-shaped decoration on the blade is decorated with baroque ornamentation. The blade is of steel, single-edged, curved, with a narrow fuller along the ridge. On the blade on one side is silver damascened plant and linear ornamentation, and on the other an Arabic inscription, that in translation runs '1219. (AH). Made by Mehmed, owner Mustafa-Basha./ Oh Mohammed, intercede for thy follower.' Wants scabbard. Band and continuation of the hilt damaged.
