DESCRIPTION: Hilt of dark bone, with quite large truncated ears. Band of metal, decorated with plant ornaments. Continuation of the hilt with decoration of fish scales that continue onto part of the ridge of the blade. The leaf-shaped decoration on the blade has Baroque ornaments. The blade is of steel, single-edged, curved. On one side of the blade is silver damascened plant and linear ornamentation and on the other side is an Arabic inscription that in translation runs: '1221. (AH) Made by Ibrahim, owner Omer-Basha. / This sword should be in the hand, and the mention of the Glorious on the tongue.' Wants scabbard. Band and continuation of the hilt a little damaged.
