DESCRIPTION: Hilt of dark bone, with truncated ears. Band and continuation of the hilt and leaf-shaped decoration on the blade of metal. The blade is of steel, single-edged, curved, with a narrow fuller along the ridge. On the blade on one side is a silver damascened plant and linear ornament, and on the other side an Arabic inscription that in translation runs: '1224. (AH) Made by Mehmed, owner Osman-Basha. / I rely upon my Creator, the slave'. Wants scabbard. From the former War Museum in Zagreb.
