    DESCRIPTION:
    Hilt covered in silver, with large faceted ears. On the joining band of the hilt a decoration of filigree work with eleven corals. On the continuation of the hilt a decoration of beads, and on the leaf-shaped part of the blade also a decoration of filigree work. The blade is of steel, single-edged, curved, with a narrow fuller along the ridge. The whole length of the blade, on one side ornamentation, and on the other an Arabic inscription that in translation runs: '1224. (AH) Made by master craftsman Ali, owner Ibrahim son of Omer Faskovic (?). / Yemliha, Mekselina, Meslina, Mernus, Debernus, Saznus, Kefestatayus' (names of the Seven Sleepers of Ephesus). On the mouth of the scabbard a rich filigree decoration, and on the remaining part baroque ornamentation with flowers in vases. Tip of the sheath ends in a fish head.
