DESCRIPTION: Hilt of dark bone, with quite large truncated ears. The joining band of metal, with baroque decorations. Continuation of the hilt with fish scale decoration that continues on to part of the ridge. On the leaf-shaped decoration, baroque decoration. The blade is of steel, single-edged, curved, with a narrow fuller along the ridge. On one side of the blade silver damascened plant and linear ornamentation, and on the other side an Arabic inscription that in translation runs: '1229. (AH) Made by Ibrahim, owner Omer Spahi. / I rely upon my Creator, His slave Omer'. Scabbard wooden, covered in leather, metal mounted on the mouth and towards the tip. Derives from Kostajnica Monastery.
