DESCRIPTION: Hilt of dark bone, with fairly small truncated ears. The joining band of metal with a simple continuation of the hilt. The blade is of steel, single-edged, curved, with a narrow fuller along the ridge. On the blade on one side a silver damascened Arabic inscription, that in translation runs: '1234. (AH) Made by Hasan, owner Omer'. Wooden scabbard, with preserved metal mounting on mouth and tip. Leaf-shaped ornament on the blade and leather wrapping of the scabbard wanting.
