DESCRIPTION: A hilt of dark bone with truncated ears. Continuation of the hilt of metal, fish scale decoration. Continuation of the hilt widens out into a triangle decorated on each side with a rosette. The triangle is forge-welded onto the upper part of the blade. The blade is of steel, single-edged, curved, with a narrow fuller along the ridge. On the blade on one side an Arabic inscription, that in translation runs: '1237. (AH) Owner Husein'. Wants scabbard. Purchased from Vladan Desnica 1948. From a collection in Islam Grcki.
