DESCRIPTION: Hilt of dark bone, with quite large truncated ears. The joining band of metal, decorated with baroque ornaments. On the continuation of the hilt a fish scale decoration that goes on to part of the ridge. On the leaf-shaped part, baroque ornaments. The blade is of steel, single-edged, straight, with a narrow fuller along the ridge. On one side of the blade silver damascened plant and linear ornamentation, and on the other side an Arabic inscription that in translation runs: '1241. (AH) Made by Ibrahim, owner ... / I rely upon my Creator, His slave.' Wants scabbard.
