DESCRIPTION: Hilt of yellowish bone, with truncated ears and a gilt metal band, on which there is a filigree decoration and six extant grooved corals. On the continuation of the hilt, filigree ringlet decoration and on the leaf-shaped part filigree work. The blade is of steel, single-edged, curved, with two narrow fullers along the ridge. On the blade on one side a silver damascened medallion with the seal of Solomon and on the other side an Arabic inscription that in translation runs: '1256. (AH). The knife should be in the hand, and the (Glorious) on the tongue. / Made by Mehmed, owner aga Mehmed'. Wants scabbard.
