DESCRIPTION: Hilt of yellowish bone, with truncated ears. On the continuation of the hilt filigree decoration of ringlets, and on the leaf-shaped part along with a filigree decoration, also two glass eyes. The blade is of steel, single-edged, curved, with two narrow fullers along the ridge. On the blade on side is a silver damascened medallion with the seal of Solomon and on the other side an Arabic inscription that in translation runs: 'Made by Mehmed, owner Ahmed. The year 1258. (AH)'. Scabbard wooden, covered with leather, brass mountings on the mouth and tip. The mounting on the tip ends with a fish head.
