No.: HPM/PMH-013078 DESCRIPTION: Hilt of dark bone, with large truncated ears. Band of copper, decorated with punched plant ornament. On the continuation of the hilt a dotted pattern, and on the leaf-shaped part a punched plant ornamentation. The blade is of steel, single-edged, curved, with narrow fuller along the ridge. On one side of the blade silver damascene plant and linear decoration, and on the other side an Arabic inscription, that in translation runs: Oh, Mohammed, intercede for your follower Mehmed, son (?) of Hasan (?) 1261.
