No.: HPM/PMH-013075 DESCRIPTION: A hilt of yellowish bone, with truncated ears. Band of copper, decorated with punched plant ornaments. On the continuation of the hilt a beaded pattern, and on the leaf-shaped part, a plant ornament. The blade is of steel, single-edged, curved, with two narrow fullers along the ridge. On one side the blade a silver damascened medallion with the seal of Solomon, and on the other side an Arabic inscription that in translation runs: 'Made by Husein, owner Suleiman. 1274. (AH)'.
