    DESCRIPTION:
    Hilt of yellowish bone with semicircular ears and carved folds on bone plates. Band of copper, decorated with filigree work and four longish, grooved and four round corals. Continuation of the hilt and leaf-shaped decoration of the blade decorated with filigree work. Also on the continuation of the blade is filigree ringlet decoration. On the leaf-shaped decoration, a red glass eye on each side. The blade is of steel, single-edged, curved, with two narrow fullers along the ridge. On one side of the blade a silver damascened medallion with seal of Solomon, on the other side, in a medallion, an Arabic inscription that in translation runs: 'Made by Osman, owner and possessor Ali. 1279 (AH).'
    Wants scabbard.
