    DESCRIPTION:
    Hilt of yellowish bone, with quite large truncated ears. The joining band of metal, decorated with filigree work, and four long corals and one dark-red glass eye. On the continuation of the hilt filigree decoration of ringlets. The blade is of steel, single-edged, curved, with two narrow fullers along the ridge. On one side of the blade, etched plant and linear decoration, and on the other an etched Arabic inscription that in translation runs: 'Made by Mehmed, owner and possessor Mustafa. 1281. (AH).
    Wants scabbard.
