No.: HPM/PMH-013089 DESCRIPTION: A hilt of yellow bone, with large rounded ears, carved folds and vertical lines on the plates. The joining band of metal, decorated with filigree work. Simple continuation of the blade. Blade single-edged, curved, with one narrow fuller along the ridge. On one side of the blade a mark with the name Abd (Abdullah?) and silver damascened plant and floral decoration, and on the other side of the blade a longish and partially legible damascened Arabic inscription that in translation runs' 'No youth like Ali, nor sable like Zulfiqar. 1283 (AH). // ...owner and possessor Mustafa Aga. // I rely upon my Creator, His slave Mustafa'.
