DESCRIPTION: Hilt of yellowish bone with smallish ears. Band of metal decorated with baroque ornamentation. Continuation of the hilt covered with ornamented brass sheet metal. On the upper part of the blade the remains of leaf-shaped ornament with baroque decorations. The blade is of steel, single-edged, curved, with a narrow fuller along the ridge. On the blade on one side an Arabic inscription that in translation runs: 'Made by Osman, owner Mustafa'. Scabbard wooden, covered in leather, metal mounting at tip and mouth. Found in Bosnia. Donated by Ivan Pajlok, a teacher of Zagreb.
