DESCRIPTION: A hilt of yellow bone with small joined ears. Band of hilt of brass richly decorated with late Baroque ornaments (fish scales and coils). Same decoration on the continuation of the hilt and leaf-shaped decoration of the blade. The blade is of steel, single-edged, curved. On the blade on one side a mark with an Arabic inscription that in translation runs: 'Made by Mehmed'. Scabbard wooden, wrapped in leather and brass mounted at mouth and tip. On the upper mounting a strap with a long loop. Band of the hilt partially missing. Found in Bosnia. Donated by Ivan Pajlok, teacher of Zagreb.
