DESCRIPTION: A hilt of yellow bone, with smallish truncated ears. Band of copper, filigree decorated. Continuation of the hilt of copper decorated on one side with filigree ringlets, and on the other is simple, with transverse grooves. The blade is of steel, single-edged, curved, with a single narrow fuller along the ridge. On the blade on one side a number of concentric circles, and on the other side a partially legible Arabic inscription that in translation runs: ' ... made by Osman-Basha'. Wants scabbard. Bought in 1929.
