DESCRIPTION: Hilt of yellowish bone, with truncated ears. The joining band of metal with still existing traces of gilding, decorated with filigree work and six long grooved corals. Continuation of the hilt also decorated with filigree work and a ringlet motif. The blade is of steel, single-edged, slightly curved. On one side of the blade a mark with an Arabic inscription that in translation runs: 'Made by Hasan'. Scabbard wooden, covered in leather and metal mounted at tip and mouth. A small lug on the top mounting. Sheath braided round with four-stranded strap. Found in Bosnia. Donated by Ivan Pajlok, a teacher in Zagreb.
