DESCRIPTION: A hilt of dark bone, with truncated ears. Metal band. Part of the hilt from ears to blade wrapped in red leather. The blade is of steel, single-edged, curved. On one side of the blade silver damascened plant and linear ornamentation, and on the other an Arabic inscription that in translation runs: 'Made by Ibrahim, owner Husein-Basha. // May the knife be in the hand and on the tongue be Glorious'. Scabbard wooden, entirely clad in red leather, decorated on the front with a serpentine plaited leather strip. On the reverse of the scabbard a leather loop. From Primisalj (Lika). Given by Nikola Muic of Zagreb 1941.
