Hilt of yellowy brown bone, with quite large truncated ears. Band of copper gilt, with inlaid longish grooved corals (6 pieces, one is missing). On the continuation of the blade, filigree decoration of ringlets. On the leaf-like decoration, a red glass faux stones eye on each side. Blade single-edged, curved, with two narrow fullers along the ridge. On one side, the sign of Solomon's seal, and on the other side an Arabic inscription with the year '1271' (AH). The Inscription is damaged to illegibility. From it the number 127 can be read off, which might mean the year of making, i.e. either 1127. or 1270. AH, or 1715 or 1853. Scabbard, wooden, covered in leather and mounted at mouth and tip. On the tip the mounting ends in a monster head.
