DESCRIPTION: Hilt covered in silver, with large faceted ears. On the ears, a decoration of filigree work, with two corals on each side. On the joining band of the hilt decoration of filigree with eleven coral beads. On the continuation of the hilt a decoration of beads with one coral each. On the leaf-shaped decoration of the blade an ornament of filigree rosettes with diamond shapes. The blade is of steel, single-edged, straight, with a narrow fuller along the ridge. Along the whole length of the blade, silver damascened plant and linear ornamentation on both sides. On one side, incorporated into the ornament, is a short Arabic inscription that in translation runs: 'Made by Salih, owner Osman' and '1234. (AH)'. Simple wooden scabbard, damaged. Purchased from Mara Schwarz of Zagreb, 1982. Once part of the Dragutin Schwarz Collection.
